Hair dyer is a soluble chemical product that is used for staining as well as coloring hair. There are two types of hair dyer available in the market. It is said that hair dyer made of natural ingredients are less hypoallergenic than those, which are made of chemicals. Therefore, think twice before buying a hair dyer from the market.

Chemical dyes have a toxic base and causes irritation and allergies. A patch test is performed by a hair-dresser before dyeing the hair. This test is carried out 24 hours before applying the dye so as to check for any irritation or allergies. If not, then the dye can be used.

Fine hair can be dyed easily as it absorbs better while the coarse hair are resistant to these dyes. Hence as time goes on, more and more of the dye will be required for dyeing the hair since the repeated use of dye for coloring the hair make them coarse and hence resistive to dyes.
